Still Waiting

It's October. The temperatures are a little milder. The daylight hours are getting shorter. So where is the color? I'm still waiting to see some.

We seem to be getting off to a slow start for Fall color in the local mountains. The forests look, well, green! Oh, there's a tree here and there with a few red or yellow leaves, but you have to look for them. The only real indicator of Fall so far are the pumpkins at the First United Methodist Church in Waynesville. You can find some Fall color there!
